The internal while loop now does a sleep for $pollinginterval That should keep you CPU from burning out

To install Gtk2::Ex::Threads::DBI, copy and paste the appropriate command in to your terminal.

cpanm Gtk2::Ex::Threads::DBI

perl -MCPAN -e shell
install Gtk2::Ex::Threads::DBI
